Flock of Dunlin

Dunlin
Flock of Dunlin

During the breeding season of the bird, its back turns reddish brown and its belly turns black, so it is easy to see the difference from sandpiper and plover.

It seems that old people used to call it Hama Chidori (Beach plovers). In the past, it was witnessed that a large flock flew together, but in recent years it seems that the size of the flock has become smaller.
